Good thing Sean doesn’t work on Photoshop anymore 😉
But he is working with the C++ standards body.

What’s up with these in photoshop.dll? Some of them are pretty damned funny.

They’re one of the easter eggs in Photoshop.
(and one of the better known ones)

Now, WHY are you reading a binary DLL?

Boredom? No wait, I remember now.. I was testing a new version of WinHex. Pure luck that I ran into that text block.

From your comment is sounds like there’s a way to view these snippets from within PS?

Y’all must have changed the key sequence, because it no workie (at least with the sequence shown at http://www.eeggs.com).
