I’m an old Paintshop Pro user who recently switched to Photoshop CS2 because it integrates with other Adobe programs I have. I’m still in the learning stages with Photoshop and having to adjust to its new features.
In Paintshop Pro I was able to use the paste transparent feature to copy images without copying the background, but can’t quite figure how to do it with Photoshop.
The image I’m trying to copy is a fingerprint. The fingerprint has several colors with a solid white background. I want to be able to create my own background and place the fingerprint image on this background without the white.. The biggest problem is the fingerprint image has so many lines that are so close together.
Any suggestions would be grateful!
