Cant install Photoshop CS

The disk works fine on my PC.
When i try to install it on my Laptop i get the error message . Windows Installer,The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Any help appreciated.

Downlaod the latest Windows Installer files, install it and try again! http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/wininstallnt.html

Got the installer files.
It did not help
