I didn’t take this to just mean panorama stitching. For combining many images together Photoshop works brilliantly. For Panorama stitching, there are better tools.

Cheers,

I took four pictures of a very large landscape area. I want to "stitch" them all together to make them look like one single very wide angled landscape image. Maybe that will help. Sorry I wasn’t specific. I am new to this and didn’t realize there were many options. Thanks for your help.

Ok, well that is stitching. Provided you are not too close to the subject you probably could do it in Photoshop by increasing the canvas size, dragging them all into separate layers and then moving them around, applying layer masks and painting in a blend edge in the mask.

Otherwise you do need stitching software. There is some free stuff and lots of 30 day trials for commercial software. A Google search should pick them up. I use Realviz Stitcher (www.realviz.com) personally but have used many of the commercial programs and they all work well for the sort of thing you want to do.

Cheers,

Wayne
