Hello All,

I’m playing with Photoshop CSII.
Now I have downloaded several plugins and I am having trouble with some of them.

After placing the plugins into the plugin folder I start Photoshop. During startup Photoshop complains about not being able to find msvcrt.dll. Removing of some newly copied plugins removes this error message. (some filters do not need this file)

Looking at msvcrt.dll files and items on the internet I can only find remarks of placing this msvcrt.dll (which is also in the Photoshop folder itself) in de window\system and/or system32 folder. Nothing seems to work.

Does anybody recognises this problem.
Do you have to register msvcrt.dll somehow -somewhere?

Any suggestion or answer were to look or answer this question would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Kimball

Trying coping msvcrt.dll to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2. Although there should already be a copy of it in there. Some plugins require msvcrt10.dll (in the same folder, C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2) in order to work.

Did that work?

If not, try c:\windows\system32?
