Hello everyone,
I don’t know if this is the right posting place or not but here I am. I am wondering if anyone can help me hook up my digital camera ? I have absolutely no idea as to where to put the two cables that came with my camera at. I have looked in the book and also read the PDF manual but it did not help me a bit. I need to know where to put each end of the cords that came with the camera at. As I said, neither one of the manuals shows a clear diagram as to where to put the connecting cords up with so I can download my photos from my camera. I have a Vivicam 3710 digital. Thanks so much if someone can help me.

That’s why it’s always cloudy around me.
Deb,
Your camera should have shipped with a USB cable. The small end will plug into a socket on the camera, this socket could be hidden under a rubber or plastic cover. Your manual should tell you where. The other end fits into the USB socket on your PC. Depending on the age of it, they (USB sockets) could either be on the back of the PC only or on newer PC’s,on the front or side also.
I suggest that you get yourself a "card reader". This plugs into the PC in the same way that the camera does and you insert your memory card into it. It uses the PC’s "power" to download your images, not the camera’s battery. Downloading images direct fom the camera is the biggest drain on a camera battery (on a par with flash) leading to increased replacement/recharging cycles.
