White as beige?

I am using Photoshop CS2 and ever since I installed it all colors in my pictures that should be white show up beige. Even in the color pallate it shows up beige. Is there any way this could be fixed? thanks

You need to calibrate your monitor, see

Had the same thing happen to me. Was mystified as things were fine with CS1 and everything in CS2 was OK, too, except for Photoshop. Bought the Pantone Huey and it calibrated things fine–back to normal.

Disable adobe gamma / remove it from startup.

Fine if you are using an LCD but not recommended if on a CRT. He still needs to calibrate though.
