I am beta testing Windows Vista (beta 2) and have encountered a problem with Adobe bridge.

My registered copy of Photoshop CS2 works perfectly, but when I bring up bridge, it comes up normally, but quickly gives me an error message about licensure and closes.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and figured out a work around?

Thanks,

Jay.

Welcome to the world of beta testing operating systems. This is why I no longer do anything as silly as OS beta testing. I hope this isn’t your only system.

I will beta test non-critical applications (ones I could live without them working). I will NEVER beta test another OS. I may do it if I have to, but I don’t even want 1.0 of an OS.

I do know that Bridge insists on some other registered Adobe app being on the system. I don’t know where it checks this; file location, Registry, etc. It sounds like Vista is putting or recording things in different places. So, whatever Bridge is check is not what it expects.

I don’t know if that is because Vista is doing things differently on purpose or if that is a bug. Report it to Microsoft.
