Jill,

I did this and it’s still crashing.<<

If you used CTRL+SHIFT+DEL did you get the confirmation message?

If you did it by manually deleting the prefs file, did you so it with Photoshop closed?

If the answer to one of the above is ‘Yes’ try an uninstall/re-install

I did not get the confirmation message, so I deleted the prefs file…but Photoshop was open.

Do I need to uninstall/reinstall anyway?

Do close Photoshop, and THEN erase the preferences files.

That should be ctrl+shift+alt.

Thank you, Bob – too early in the morning after a night that was too warm to get much sleep…

Take a trip across the pond if you want "warm." 100 farenheit yesterday and today. Fortunately the air conditioning is working just fine. <g>

About the same here! Today’s high was forecast at 100.4F with even higher tomorrow. At 3.00am it was close to 70F and as we ‘need’ a/c about 7 days a year maximum it’s not something you will commonly find in domestic premisses here. So, windows wide open and suffer the traffic noise whilst lying naked on top of the bedsheets!

The car, thankfully, does have A/C<g>

"the Pond" is getting warmer too. Jumped in (North Sea) today and it was like pea soup.
