I have Adobe PS CS2 running on Windows XP with 752 RAM

I took A picture of a beach scene, and changed the style to black and white,

however, i want to have some text that apprears as if it was written on the sand, so you know it looks legit. is this possible..

ANything’s possible in Photoshop. Just add enough time, talent, and knowledge. There are numerous tutorial sites avialbe, many of which likely have instructions and screen captures showing how to do this.

type text with hand script font, warp in persective, add and inward bevel, lots of noise, and set opacity down a bit. You could play with changing size of each letter individually for more "hand" done effect, and all other options until it looks like you want it.
