Hi, I am a professional photographer working in the San Diego Area, and I am trying to figure out a way to "batch" produce proof images with lower resolutions and with an overlaid semi-transparent text logo. My problem is that when recording the action for this process, the ppi (or dpi) of each image varies, inevitably causing variance between the text size in pixels. So for some images, the text, which is tilted to a 45 degree angle, set to 50% opacity, drop-shadowed, etc., comes out either massively disproportioned, or incredibly small! Also, there is a problem with positioning the text, because some files are shot vertically, while some are shot horizontally.
I have seen this process successfully used on other photographers’ proofs, however, I am still having great difficulty.
