I just recently, due to a virus, had to start over. I am running WIndows XP SP2 and Photoshop CS2. After installing CS2 I went to the control panel to use the Gamma utility. When I get to the midtone adjustments, (red, green, blues boxes) nothing happens when I move the sliders. It’s almost like something is disconnected. Everthing else in the utility is operable. In any event is there anyone who can steer me in the right direction to get this fixed? Thx

Mike,

That sounds as though your video driver is not allowing LUT’s to be loaded.

Thanks for the reply. The video driver is the MSFT plug n play. When I tried to load from my video card CD it wouldn’t allow it saying that there was insufficient memory and I needed to close out the Window’s applications. At the top of the error box it said Can’t run 16 bit Windows programs. Any other help is much appreciated. Thx

Mike,

Suggest you go to your vid.card manufacturer’s website and download the latest driver available for the O/S you are running under.
