i’m trying to save some image map files and imageready keeps hanging up. when i check the task manager it says "not responding."
this is a rather large file (3,313 kb) with complex layer-based mapped outlines of each of the united states.
i’ve not optimized an image map for a while, so when i started having problems i went to a smaller to refresh my memory and test the process. on the smaller file (1,775 kb) and it seemed to work fine.
i’m wondering if there is a maximum file size imageready can manage–i thought i read somewhere 40mb, or, do i just have to give it more time to crunch the data?
