Uninstall it and choose english perhaps?
I choose english the first time, and I have tried uninstalling it.
Tom,
Did you choose English during the installation? That’s the language for the license agreement readme, not the PS interface language.
Go back to the Adobe pages with the downloads and select the English download.
Rob
I had an english installation, and everything was in english until I started up the program.
Where did you get the trial? If it was not from Adobe, then you may have gotten a mislabelled version.
I’m sure I got it from Adobe.
Alternatively, you might take up a Japanese language course. A friend of me did it just for the fun of it (!), so it must be possible for us.
Rob
I’d download the trial again, and make sure you get the English version. Even if you are on a dialup system, it will take less time than learning Japanese.
I have download the English version again, but it is still in Japanese, does anyone have any idea on how to get it to be in English?
Exactly where did you go to download it?
Was it the page Dave linked to?
Do you have anything Japanese on your computer that may have changed the Regional and Language settings in Windows?
(Not that I think the download site is that clever!)
(Not that I think the download site is that clever!)
Maybe it is. When I downloaded DNG-converter I never chose a language, yet once installed it was Dutch, like my O/S.
Before that I didn’t know there was a Dutch version at all.
Can it be that on Tom’s computer Japanese Characters are enabled in the O/S? I remember something about that.
Rob
I downloaded it from the page Dave linked to, but I do have Japanese characters enabled, should I uninstall the Japanese font and reinstall?
Why not just try it? And check your Regional and Language settings in Windows!
