I’ve had this problem ever since I bought CS2. After I crop an image, when I add text you can’t see it. The font size is around 50 pt and it’s coming out at a visually impossible size. The only way I can even barely see the text is if I max out the font size around 1200 pt. The only work-around to this is to create the text before cropping the picture. This method is annoying because I have to prejudge where the text should go and sizing before cropping. Is there any other method which I can use to create legible text after cropping an image?

You are probably changing the resolution to a very low number. Reset it to at least 72 and things should be better.
