If I open Photoshop CS and copy an image from somewhere else, whether it is in my browser (Firefox) or even using printscreen to grab a screenshot, it will not recognize this in Photoshop. It will only recognize the last thing copied inside the program. If I open mspaint. whatever I copied from my browser or from printscreen will be there. I have installed Photoshop in the past and not had this behavior, so it is not what I expected. Any idea how to fix this?

I see it occasionally too. usually when i’m switching desktop resolutions without closing ps first. restarting photoshop clears the behaviour. i’ve mentioned it once or twice here before but i don’t think the adobe engineers have ever been able to reproduce it so they don’t believe me when i tell them it happens… 🙂
