Photoshop Does Not OPEN!

Hello guys,

I downloaded Adobe Photoshop 6, and everything went alright and said that Adobe Photoshop 6 was Downloaded and i could close the Window, so I did and when i went to Desktop to look for it, it wasn’t there, do you guys know anything that would help me find it ?? Thank You.

Old version. Where did you download it from? Did you pay money for it?

I have the DISK.

I tried downloading Photoshop 7, but didnt work, so i decided to downloaed 6 and worked. And remember i have the disk.

Any help would be appreciated.

I guess I’m not following. Did you double-click on the Setup icon on the disk? Did you get the installation dialogs, etc?

There shouldn’t be any downloading involved.

Should install to Programs.

it did install but i cant find it.

Did you do a search for photoshop.exe? Usually installs in Programs, unless you specified somewhere else.

This is a User Account with Administrator privileges, right?

I don’t remember, but you may need to restart your computer first.

Are you certain that you are missing more than just the shortcut?

If the program is elsewhere than c:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 6.0 then possibly you merely though that you installed it. Of course, the installation dialog does ask you where you want it installed (and I always use the default location).

If the Photoshop is located where it usually is, all you need to do is create a shortcut.
