Is there a way to have a same slice area, but have different names for the slice, depending on graphics. I think in Fireworks you can do this. Since the slice area stays the same, and only the graphics changes depending on how my HTML page, I dont want to rename my slice or file differently everytime i export my images from Image ready. Also i want to keep a record of the slice names.
This is almost like the roll over effect( where you can have different images for the same area)… but i don’t want roll overs.
I am studying this a bit more and see that you can save slices based on layer names. This is actually very useful, and wasn’t very apparent at first.
Is there a way to export all slices for different webpage versions at the same time?
