I had tried setting my camera (1DMark 2N) and PSCS2 to aRGB. Then reverted both back to sRGB. PS still says files embedded in aRGB.
Why is PS not reading the files as in the camera, i.e., sRGB?

It is more likely that the camera is not writing the EXIF data correctly. I would verify that first.

I’ve checked the camera’s setting. it is sRGB.
How can I find what is actually the problem? In Bridge, the exif does not list the color space.

To follow up, in Windows, the picture data shows: as shot, sRGB!!

Barry, are you shooting RAW? If so, RAW files have no color space. They are actually grayscale files that then get interpolated to create a color image. The color space pop-up in the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in is merely a preference and does not represent the color space of the file itself since there is no color space.

I figured it out.
The ACR workflow options did it!
Thanks for you responses!
