WELL He fixed it. Yesterday he uninstalled and reinstalled Pshop 26 times and on the last try it worked. The problem now is that we still do not know what happened or why and so can not avoid what ever action began this. He put everything back on that he had removed in effort to solve this problem and it still works. Go figure!!

These last few posts focus directly on why I don’t let my OS or any application check for and install updates automatically and without my say so.

Yes, it takes more front-end work, time and attention, but the rewards at the back-end are that if some update has the potential to screw up my lean and mean system, I’ll know about it beforehand because I pay attention to the news sites that post reports—both good and bad—from the update-hungry early-adopters.
