Thanks,
Bruce,

There should be no need, PSD’s are OS independant. How have the files been saved on the MAC? What happens when you ry to open them? What version of PS are you using, 6.0?

The files do not have extensions. I am not sure how the files were saved…I am using 7.0 and when I open with note pad, the headers say photoshop 7.0. So version wise, I should be OK

Thanks

Bruce,

The missing extension is a MAC thing, they hide ’em. If you can open them in Notepad the images must be quite small, less than 65K.(Therefore unlikely to be PSD’s) Can you see JFIF on the first line of the text? This would indicate a JPEG. Try renaming them or opening them in Irfanview (free) see http://desktoppub.about.com/od/crossplatform/
