I need to create skin and hair (like paint on the second photo)

This requires a bit of time and and some knowledge of the program. How familliar are you with photoshop?
For example: for starters on the skin tone I would create a layer mask for all skin and then add a new layer, fill with a a gradient of two more "flattering" skin tones, add a little inner glow and set the layer to overlay, and then adjust after seing how that looks.

I am not a newbie (two years) and know how to do it, but I search a tutorial for my friends, because each second question to me is (those two pictures). Is is hard for me right tutorial in English, so, i ask you.
