Almost new installation of Photoshop CS.

Working fine — but now I find when I use the Rectangular Marquee Tool within or over an image it does NOT mark what I select.

Instead it gives me a rectangle with rounded corners.

Worked at first; so I assume I did something to change this configuration.

I can change it to do elliptical or single line with the tool, but whenever I change it back to rectangle I get rectangles with rounded corners rather than selecting what is highlighted with the tool.

How do I fix it so it works like the default where it allows me to select an area with squared corners as it does when loaded as the default.

Thanks ….

Thanks.

That did it.

Never meant to, and don’t know when I changed the Feather value. Must have though …
