Hello folks,
Photoshop CS does nothing when I try to access Adobe web or the tutorials from within the program. Indeed I can not get any auto updates either. I also have Elements 2 and encounter the same problem. Can anyone offer a starting point to correct this problem? TIA and thanks for all the wonderful tips, tricks and knowledge that is shared here.

The IE7 beta browser is recognised as having a number of bugs (hence beta) one of which manifests itself in the behavior James is experiencing. There is supposed to be an update for IE7 which corrected this but it doesn’t work for everyone. No problems with IE6.

Could your firewall be blocking the connection?

I hadn’t thought of that, being as it never interfered before. But I’ve made lots of changes to the computer lately. I’ll give that a try. Thanks for the head’s up.
