Our company watermarks our images and has done so for the past 6 years. We were recently approached by Amazon to have our products sold on their website. However, one stipulation is no watermarked images. We’re not crazy about this because it leaves our images open for theft (as they’ve been stolen many times in the past), however, the substantial increase in traffic and potentially in sales is being deemed worth it.
Of course we don’t have all of our original images. We never imaged a scenario like this would happen where we would not want our watermarks. Hindsight is 20/20. Is there a way to remove watermarks from flatfile (JPG) images?
