I was using Photoshop CS2 on my Laptop before formatting it and everything was fine. After formatting my Laptop I installed it again and now I have the following issue:

When I move with tools like Type, Marquee, Lasso and others over the image I’m editing they simply don’t appear.

I have found something that works which is when I use the Brush at size about 50, then the Brush appears.

None of my friends who have Photoshop has ever experienced this.

Hope you guys can help me out since I need to work with this software.

Best,
Ori

The solution, in my case at least, was that the graphics card in my laptop was unable to cope with CS2’s cursors. The solution is to go to your display properties and reduce hardware acceleration. Try it a step at a time until you find a setting that allows your cursors to be seen.
