I use PhotoDeluxe 2.0 on a Toshiba laptop. But this always happens regardless of which computer I use. I always use the Advance button to tweak my photos, but this always happens when I open the program: As soon as hit Advance, I get this message: "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."

When I hit okay the box disappears and I can work with no problem, but what does this message mean? It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with me working on my pictures.

Also, while I’m here, is there anyway to have PhotoDeluxe open automatically into the Advance tools instead of clicking on the button to go there? Thanks

Google: photodeluxe "Either there is no default mail client"

Looks like this is a well known problem for which others have found a solution.

If you like PhotoDeluxe (used it myself about six years ago), you might consider upgrading to Photoshop Elements one of these days. You would probably be amazed at how much more you can do with less effort.

If you’re into shopping on eBay, Photoshop Elements 2.0 can be had for $25 (including shipping) or less, and there are a boatload of inexpensive books and Internet-based tutorials on how to use it.

Then again if PD is working for you, ya sure can’t beat the price! 🙂

Hope this helps…
