Good morning to all our viewers and listeners out there.

Is there a way to dictate what font PS CS2 substitutes missing fonts for? A client has given me several files with lots of text in Papyrus. I don’t have Papyrus but I have Papyrus LET. But PS is substituting for Times New Roman. Is there a way to save my having to plod through and change all these manually? I don’t want to rasterize the fonts as I have to clean up his writing.

Thanks

Phil

photoshop substitutes all missing fonts for what it thinks is the most similar font, in your case, Papyrus for Times New Roman (hehehe)
you can then change the fonts by just selecting the text.

That’s because they did have papyrus in Roman times 🙂
