Is there a simple utility from Adobe that allows someone to add/modify the EXIF/IPTC/XMP metadata saved in a JPEG/TIFF file without having to purchase a full-blown photo editing package like Photoshop?

I’m interested in this too.

I have struggled a little trying to figure out how to do this, and batch printing and batch conversions (sizing for posting online).

I have a free copy of Nikon View that does all of this. It works with JPG and Tiff but is designed to work on Nikon RAW files. You can download it from the nikon web site for free.

I am waiting on Amazon for some books on Bridge and Photoshop CS2 and hopefully that will get me over my learning curve 🙂

From Adobe, probably not. But Google "Exiftool". There are lots of EXIF editors but this free command-line tool edits any metadata type you can think of in any file format you could possibly need – and then some.

One of the best, in my opinion, is PixVue.

It ia neat, it is sweet and it is (was?) free.
