Since i installed a new monitor, everytime I start Photoshop a window pops up and says " The monitor profile LGL1770HQ appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software. According to LG customer service, I’m supposed to get a plug-in from Adobe.

What am I supposed to do?

Here are some specs:
Pentium 4
Photoshop 7.0
LGL 1770 HQ

Thanks!

The message means EXACTLY what it says, and tells you what to do.

There is no plugin, so I don’t know what LG is talking about.

All you need to do is run Adobe Gamma and pick a new profile as a starting point (because your current one is corrupt).

Or LG should provide you with a working color profile for your display (and make sure they don’t ship any more defective profiles).

I’m betting that Adobe Gamma is what LG customer service is calling a plug in.
