I am a newbie to the forum and I have a cursory knowledge of using Photoshop 7.

My dilemma is that I am a subcontractor transcribing legal documents for delivery to a state agency that requires I certify my signature. I would like to create an e-signature with a watermark or a stamp for security reasons.

1) All documents have to be produced using Microsoft Word.

2) Documents require that I certify my signature at the end of the transcription.

3) Two copies of the documents are required (a copy and one document with a “pen and ink” signature.

4) Documents will be e-mailed to the corporate office for the “pen and ink” signature(s) before delivery to the state agency.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If you are being asked to provide a digitally signed document, that normally doesn’t mean something you can see.

A digital signature is something quite different. Suggest you Google on "Digital Signature" or you could start by reading through:

By "e-signature" do you mean having the ability to insert an image (the digital equivalent) of your hand-written signature into the Word document, so when the document is subsequently opened in Word it looks "hand signed"?
