Upgrade from Photoshop 7

Hi all,
I’m using an older version — PS 7.0
I’m looking into upgrading to PS CS2. I’m told there are differences between some of the CS versions and to get the CS Professional version only. Okay, so now I’m really confused. Please advise.

Photoshop is Photoshop. What you’re likely referring to are the two levels of the Creative Suite.

Standard includes Photoshop, ILlustrator and InDesign, Pemium adds GoLive and Acrobat Professional.

As a Photoshop license holder you can upgrade to either version or simply just to Photoshop CS2.

Hey Bob,
Thanks for clarifying the difference. Now I know that Professional includes all the other relatated Adobe software/programs. Cause whoever (some fool) told me this, said Professional had more and better features. Thanks.

The only application Adobe has, AFAIK, with the Professional tag is Acrobat. And yes, it does have more and better features.

Better than while trying to drive!

Last year I saw a guy driving with a phone wedged between his ear and shoulder, whilst writing in a notebook trapped between his thumb and the steering wheel.

These people need shooting! I didn’t have my camera, otherwise I’d have shot him – and shopped him.

Sorry to go OT on you Stella. Just felt the need for a rant.
