All, I’m a very basic user, so be kind in your explanations. Here’s what I’m attempting. To honor a recently deceased family member, I want to create a single picture out of several to show parts of her life from a child to present. I have scanned the pictures into PS and have saved them, but that’s all so far. I want to use one as the center and then add smaller pictures across the top and bottom to show her from a child to near her passing. How do I combine these into one image so that I can bring that file to a photo processor to have a poster board made. After the ceremony, I would like to give this to her only child. I really need help here and I’m running out of time.

Thanks all,

Craig

Go FILE>NEW and make a new canvas the size of the poster at 300 ppi.

Open your main (central) picture and drag it with the Move Tool onto the new canvas. Go IMAGE>TRANSFORM and, holding the shift key to maintain aspect ratio, size and position as required.

Repeat with all the other images. Save the new document as a working file. Then flatten the layers and save another version ready for the photo lab to print.

Best of luck with it.

Chris.
