I’m running PS CS2 on XP64 SP1 with a Wacom Intuous 3 tablet which has the most recent driver installed. Whenever I launch PS, I get an error saying "tablet version mismatch" "Please reinstall tablet driver" even though I have done that reinstall before and the tablet works great in every other app.

This is a dell precision 390. 4 gb ram and 2.19 ghz amd opteron 248.

Thanks for any advice

Unfortunately, XP64 is still so relatively new, there are likely to be driver compatibility problems for quite some time yet.

Photoshop itself, whilst not officially supporting XP64, does apparently work well. How the various third party drivers interact (with the new OS AND Photoshop) is still something which needs time to settle down.

Jason,

Does your 390 use the Intel motherboard RAID setup? My 380 has developed a couple of quirks that seem to be related to that — for instance, PS CS2 and Acrobat CS2 keep losing their activation codes despite a "fix" that I got from support.

So while I’d suspect the OS first, it’s possible the problem is that the driver or an ini file isn’t being read off the array properly.

Those aren’t Photoshop messages.

You need to find what is putting up those error messages (a third party plugin, or some driver that you installed).

Are you sure that the Wacom driver is for XP64?

Wacom has had 64 bit drivers for quite awhile. At least the last two.
