If you’re using Photoshop CS, I’d recommend Colin Smith’s – "Everything You Need to Know About Photoshop CS"

If you are a newbie, Photoshop for Dummies can be a good start with few additional backups from simple tutorials on the web… That’s how I learned photoshop and I’m doing good!! 🙂
