Hi,

My icons design in windows XP environment get distracted in windows 2000 and 98 environment. Help me…

Currently i am using Windows XP and i am designing icons for application developed in VC++ environment.

Do you mean "distorted"?

When creating Icons you should use an icon creation program since they generally have multiple sizes and color depths embedded in them with WinXP for the various viewing options (tiles, thumbs, etc.) Being compliant with the standards will increase the liklihood that those icons will be backward compatabile with other versions of Windows.

There are tons of icon creation programs that are compliant with those standards…
