Hello,

How does one create an image thats nearly white/gray, as a watermark on an image in PS?

I have an image for a community website. I would like to take the image, thats in color, and create a watermark so to speak…I would like to place the image on the background of all website pages, but still allow text and or other content to be viewable above it. Want to lighten it just enough to be seen, but not dark enough to hinder the content.

Not sure if this is clear….Perhaps relating it to TV. Sometimes in the lower right/left corners, the broadcasters put a gray/white logo on the screen.

I seek to create something similar in PS.

Any ideas, recommendations or directions would be most appreciated.

Best wishes,
iukini

Sorry, still not getting it with either of these suggestions.

Heres a link to a site that has similar to what I am trying to make.

<http://www.childguidance.org/news_pr.html>

Note the child/adult hands and fingers, this is what I am trying to create, but from a color picture and slightly ligher than this, just to have a hint of visibility in the bacground of the pages.

Thanks for the assistance.
