I have a graphic from the web I snagged for a bday invitation. After I printed this…if looked fuzzy. Is there a way to improve images snagged from the web using photoshop? Thanks so much for any help.

Did I say I was stealing a copy righted image!? No, I would not do that. I have a fuzzy image and wanted to know how to improve the quality. I know web graphics are 72DPI and I was just asking how to make them higher. This particular website is someone I know! Thanks for much for assuming I was stealing copy righted images!

It sure sounded that way to me, too.

As for the graphic, since it’s someone you know, why not ask them for the high res version.

There are various up-sampling programs, but none of them are that good IMHO.

If you know the person, why not ask for a copy of his hi-rez original?

Web graphics are not 72 dpi, by the way. The term dpi has no meaning on the web. They display at whatever your monitor resolution is. Pixels dimensions are what is important.
