I’ve tried to change the color mode on some tif’s in PS & Illustrator to CMYK to be used in InDesign. None of the steps for converting color modes work. What steps do I need to do ? I even tried to change to JPEG & EPS but they still come back as RGB color embedded.

Huh? The color mode has nothing to do with the file format (except that some file formats don’t support some color modes).

But once you change the color mode and save the document, the file IS in the color mode you converted it to.

All you have to do is change the mode, and save.

What Cris said.

What steps are you taking to convert and save, and how are you determining that the files are still RGB?
