Is it possible to turn off permanently the MAC OS 9 file compatibility option when saving files? Photoshop CS 2.

Everytime I save a new file, I have to go into Output Settings, then Saving Files, and uncheck the Mac OS 9 option. Is there a global option to permanently turn this off?

I sounds like you’re talking about Image Ready.

Create a Named Setting, then use that from the dropdown in the Save Dialog. If I recall, the last named setting you pick is the one that displays.

Peace,
Tony
