with the new photoshop (CS2)when i download an image off of the camera and open it up in the new photoshop the image is like 8×5 at 300 dpi. In photoshop 6 I can open up the same file and the image will be 16 by whatever at 72 dpi so its not the camera its the new photoshop. In the new photoshop is there a button where i can change it so the image opens up at a bigger size and the dpi is at 72?

PS6 does not read the metadata included with the file by your camera, CS2 does.

use image size to bring it back to 72 ppi (resampling off!)

yes, but what i’m saying is that…in PS6 i can resize the image at 11×17 and make the dpi 600 if i wanted and print it out and it comes out crisp, but in CS2 if i did that the image isn’t as crisp.
