I have a folder of a wedding that i shot and would like to resize all photos to same size to save on disk. Can that be done in photoshop cs?
the customer wanted a cd.What is a size that i can use to save it to cd that will look good on monitor but not large enough to print anything over 5×7? Is this asking to much.Any suggestions?

The answer is Batch actions

A good size for monitor viewing is 800×600 pixels or so

Patricia, while an action will do what you want, there is an easier solution: Dr. Brown’s Image Processor, which is available as a free download for Photoshop CS (it’s included in CS2 as the Image Processor). Go to <http://www.russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html> and scroll down 2/3 of the way to the bottom, under the heading "Adobe Photoshop CS Scripts", where you will find a description, download links, and movie demon links for Dr. Brown’s Image Processor 2.3 for CS. Alternatively (or in addition), you can download the next item down, Dr. Brown’s 1-2-3 JPEG. This works like the Image Processor but will only save as JPEG.

Patricia:

Michael’s advice is a good solution. If Dr. Brown’s script doesn’t cut it for you, shoot me an e-mail (click my name above) and I will be glad to walk you through writing the action and invoking it in batch. Not a big deal after you’ve done it a couple times.
