I have Photoshop 7.0, and I was wondering how to apply for example auto color or some other effect on several pictures at the same time. Is that possible?

Adjustment layers will at least save the adjustment
so that it can be applied successively to as many
images as you like.

There are other utilities (eg. XnView or Image Magick)
that are good for batch processing of image files.

Make it an action, then apply the new action to the images in a batch.
