I’m using Photoshop 8.0.1 french.
When I want to register a picture for the web, I get a window saying "certains des noms de fichiers enregistrés contiennent des caractères non latins. Ces noms de fichiers seront incompatibles avec". There’s no non.latin letter or no special caractere in the name. How may I do to remove this message ?

Check the name of your disk and the user – the PATH may have a non roman character in it.

Since you are apparently a French speaker, make certain that your application path name and your path name for the preference files do not have accented characters or c-cedilla. Only plain letters, digits, spaces, and hyphens for the sake of safety. This will be a problem if the username has accented characters, because those characters will be in the pathname for the preference files.
