All my pictures appear in stark pink?

I’ve just installed Photoshop 7 on WinXP for the first time and everything I open appears in only dark pink. Swatches show one or greens and a yellow I think. Can anyone help me? I’m unsure what to do.

rerun adobe gamma from the control panel.

Are you using a custom profile? Make sure that "no color management" is checked in your printer dialogue box.
