I recently bought the Nikon D2Xs and installed Capture One Pro to help with the RAW file processing, and have since noticed that Photoshop CS cannot open any tiff files either 16 bit or 8 bit, where as Photoshop 7 can do both. I could not say whether or not the problem existed before installing Capture one, since I work mainly in JPEGS.
When trying to open a TIFF, I get "Could not complete your request because not enough memory RAM" – I have 1GB RAM installed and set to 90% in the memory preferences. Efficiency is running at 100% I can open a 110 mb PSD though which is twice the size of the TIFFS I want to access. Any suggestions?
