I had some maps scanned with a big pro-scanner.
Now I try to match them together into one big map

After doing this, with copy and paste, (each "map" is a layer), I can see some colour differences between them.

Is it somehow possible to adjust colour and contrast with a tool automatically or do I have to do colour adjustment by hand, for each of the layers?

thanks

Max,

Are there corresponding colour differences on the original scans? I wouldn’t have used copy and paste
I would have made a new image the size of the finished map. Then I would have dragged each images background layer into the "Big Map" or used File>Place
Is there an overlap between the various layers? I would apply a layer mask and paint over the overlap to remove any straight lines between the layers, using a feature like a road, river, contour line etc., as a guide. To colour correct, you have numerous choices, from Match Color, Hue and Saturation to Curves and Levels. (all under Image> Adjustments, auto correction could be dissapointing but try it )
How familiar are you with PS?
