Hi all,
I have Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Windows. I downloaded a big image (4000×30000) in TIF format
( http://hiroc.lpl.arizona.edu/images/TRA/TRA_000873_1780/down load.php?TRA_000873_1780_RGBcolor.tif)
– 293.5Mb

I loaded it in photoshop, then I rotated it by 180° dregrees and saved it in PNG format (242Mb). All ok.
I closed the image, then I tried to reopen it but I received an error: "Impossible to complete the request because the module for this file format cannot analyze the file" (translated form Italian).

I passed the the image to a collegue of mine, he opened it with Adobe Photoshop CS2 on Macintosh (OS X) with no errors.

What can I do to resolve the "big png" error on PC?

Thank you.

UPDATE: I discovered that if I drag’n’drop the image, I receive the error, while if I open it by right-clicking on image and selecting "Edit with Photoshop" it works perfectly.
Maybe the file is too big for drag-n-drop? (and PS receives an incomplete file?)

bye
