PDF might be a good idea. That way, people can click on a link in your email to them and it’ll take them to it where it lives in a directory on your internet server space. This speeds up delivery and incoming email download time, and you’re not obnoxiously forcing your flyer on anyone who might not want to see it.

If you want the image to display in the e-mail message you’ll have to save it as a jpg or gif file. This will treat it like any other web image.

Be careful with the file size. You’ll have to change the image size and resolution so that it will fit in an average outlook window. Most likely you’ll only be able to use this for a preview, small text won’t be readable.

I would put the preview in body of the message and then attach a PDF like Phosphor mentioned before. That way people would get an idea of what it looks like and then they could open the PDF attachment to see the actual flyer.

Use it to make custom stationary, then just activate as same through Outlook.

Lots of people (the smart one’s at least – me for one, but I guess that excludes most MS Outhouse users) turn off images and html in their mail because of unrequested porn, spam, cookies, spy images (one pixel jobbers that let a site set a cookie to track your surfing habits), and other nasties that can be buried in html. if you put images in your mails you’re guaranteeing that a possibly large portion of your audience will never get your message at all.
