Anyone know how to add type in Image Ready over sliced images?

In other words, I am creating a webpage where I need to go back and be able to re-edit the text as html in Dreamweaver or other editors.

If not, help on where to find a tutorial would be great!

I might need that tutorial anyway as I need more info on other things. My help files in Image Ready only has info for Photoshop.

I am using CS2.

Thanks

In the "Slice" dialogue, the "Type" drop down menu contains three options.

You need to select "No Image". Then check the box "Text is HTML"

Hope this helps.

Excellent! Thanks!

If possible I will also like to know how to make the box transparent so the background will show thru to the image in the back if possible.

As I look around I do not see these options anywhere.

Thanks

I would think all you have to do is set the properties of the Cell to "Background image = …" rather than white.

You do this using your HTML editor of course.
